Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the lovelies at The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme: Winter TBR (to be read) List.
This first five on my list are no-brainers since, as always, I will be participating in Canada Reads. BAM! There you go.
I am also participating in Jazz Age January hosted by Leah at Books Speak Volumes, hence
That leaves two spots remaining. In truth I hate to pre-plan my reading, so I’m just going to leave them open.
What are you reading this winter? Anything I should know about?
This winter I’m hoping to get through some library reads, old ARCs, and a few books of my own such as The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and Ketchup Clouds by Annabel Pilcher. Happy reading.
Margaret Atwood is so great – I loved Oryx and Crake and Year of the Flood. I’m not familiar with your other books but hope you enjoy them!
Some really nice books in the list and I didn’t know Jazz Age January was a thing, that sounds awesome
I think Jazz Age January is going to be a lot of fun. Can’t wait to see what others are reading. You should join in too.
I might do that, I have The Paris Wife to read or maybe even The Other Typist.
Ooh, I’ve really been wanting to read Annabel! I’ll be looking forward to hearing what you think.
I have some books from the library that are lying untouched on my shelf for weeks. I really need to plan my library reading better. Maybe I”ll make a dent in these books this December.
Library reading is hard to manage. All those books just waiting for you and they’re free. And then there is the whole issue of reserving books. My reservations all seem to come in at the same time.
I would love to get through an Atwood book or 2 next year. Your books look so interesting – you’re making me want to attempt Canada Reads, but I’m trying to be more free form with my reading next year.
I’m trying to be more free form too and yet I keep committing to all these things. Most importantly I’m going to try to reel in my NetGalley habit.
