March Round Up

march-roundup

March flew by for me. That may have to do with the fact that I was laid up with bronchitis for most of it and life seems to pass in a haze of coughing.

And now for what you are waiting for – books read! As always, highlighted titles connect back to my reviews.

  1. The Accident by Chris Pavone
  2. Sacred Mountain by Robert Ferguson
  3. The Beauty of Humanity Movement by Camilla Gibb
  4. The Heart Broke in by James Meek
  5. Mount Pleasant by Don Gilmore
  6. The Ever After of Ashwin Rao by Padma Viswanathan
  7. Visible City by Tova Mirvis
  8. Listen to the Squawking Chicken by Elaine Lui
  9. Bad Teeth by Dustin Long
  10. The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna Van Praag

Other books reviewed in March include:

  1. Shotgun Lovesongs by Nickolas Butler
  2. A Spear of Summer Grass by Deanna Raybourn
  3. Capital by John Lanchester
  4. The Muslims Are Coming by Arun Kundnani

And onto April where I will be continuing with the Spring Reading Thing.

  1. Seems like bronchitis is getting everyone! I’ve had 2 co-workers come down with the same. But I don’t think they spent their time laid up as productively. Hope you are feeling better. Am dying to know what you thought of Listen to the Squawking Chicken! Got an email from Chapters today that the book has been shipped!

  2. A great reading month, I’m sure! Congratulations! I read The House at the End of Hope Street by Menna Van Praag in March too. I’m off to read your review of Visible City. I’ve been seeing it around and I’m attracted to that cover 🙂 Here’s to more books in April!
